Noche en el Museo III
Valencia Fine Arts Museum 2024
When Nature awakens the senses.
For the third consecutive year, the Valencia Fine Arts Museum offers the opportunity to intervene its non-exhibition spaces with an ephemeral project in which, through a series of small installations, we address a theme, a trend or a current of thought from the field of design, with an approach that establishes a link with the museum.
This year we have made vegetation, beyond that present in the cloister, colonise the interior of the museum, generating a series of scenes based on biophilic design: a movement that proposes emulating and integrating natural elements in architecture and interior design because of their positive impact on people's well-being.
As on the two previous occasions, LZF Lamps and Gandía Blasco Group have worked together on the conceptualisation and design of this intervention, in which this year another Valencian firm, Greenarea, specialised in creating spaces and vertical gardens with preserved vegetation, has also participated.
The scenes recreate lush, organic environments that play with the boundaries between indoors and outdoors, designed with a heady mix of Greenarea's 100% natural, maintenance-free plant creativity, Gandía Blasco Group's handcrafted, nature-inspired textiles and furniture, and LZF Lamps‘ handcrafted, organic design lamps, made from LZF Lamps’ signature wood veneer.
